Welcoming words from Juliane House

I am sending my greetings to all readers of the Central Asian Journal of Translation Studies! I welcome the launch of this important new journal dedicated to the scientific and practical progress of the discipline of translation studies - a discipline whose importance has been steadily growing worldwide over the past decades. And a sign of this importance is of course the existence of this new Journal set up particularly for readers in Central Asia- a region I was lucky enough to have visited recently.

All my very best wishes
